Feed particle size
Fine particles smaller than the mesh size in the feed of the screening machine should all be discharged through the mesh when screening. In fact, it is impossible to screen them all out. Only those fine particles much smaller than the mesh size have a high probability of passing, while those close to the mesh size have a low probability of passing. The closer the material size is to the mesh size, the more difficult it is to pass through the mesh. These particles are called hard-to-screen particles. Therefore, the more hard-to-screen particles are in the feed, the more difficult it is to screen, and the screening efficiency is improved.
Moisture content in feed
When the moisture content in the feed is low, the particle surface only absorbs moisture and adheres to moisture, which has little influence on the screening efficiency. When the water content in the feed increases to 5%-8%, wedge-shaped moisture will appear, which can form cohesion between particles or between particles and the screen, causing particles to reunite and block the screen holes, which will affect the screening efficiency. When the water content in the feed increases to 10%-14%, there will be interstitial moisture between particles. At this time
